But I'm kind of amused that multiculturalists can proclaim the beauty and strength and legitimacy of--and necessity of surrendering to--religions that condemn diversity to death.
I wonder when Mark Steyn comes off hiatus.
What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies right to our faces.

Yeah, well the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced of two things:
1) Multiculturalists are okay with Islam because Islam hates Christianity. They're hoping Islam does the dirty work the Constitution won't allow them to do. The whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing.
2) Multiculturalists also have a soft-spot for Islam because it treats diversity of thought the same way they do: with bullying and intimidation.
I've never met a multiculturalist who tolerated or respected conservative, orthodox Christian thought.
Just two observations.
Good points, especially #2.
I don't think everyone with the stupid "COEXIST" sticker on their bumper is a hardcore anti-Christian; I think a lot of people just follow the multiculturalists blindly because thinking about right and wrong makes them feel "mean" (plus it's unfashionable)...
