"bowel-stewing self-indulgence of elite liberalism"

If you're reading this, you will enjoy Jonah Goldberg's latest column.

Wasn't there a war--a real one, with guns--fought at some point to rid America of an incompetent self-serving hereditary aristocracy? I saw a documentary about it once.

Hey, I'll freely admit I'm a hypocrite!:) I'm still hung up on the promise of Camelot and I wasn't even alive when JFK and RFK were around.

Regardless, I'm TOTALLY working "bowel-stewing" into my vocabulary.;)

The Revolution was NOT fought because Americans disliked royalty.

It was fought over taxes imposed by an ELECTED body (Parliament)...

Who is this "King of Great Britain" they keep mentioning in the Declaration? I was under the impression that he and his appointees had something to do with it.
